  • HSE & Quality: Ensure TotalEnergies EP Brasil compliance to the legislative and internal requirements relating to HSE and that all R&D activities and Innovation Projects conducted in Brazil are carried out with fully acceptable level of HSE. The employee shall perform his/her activities in compliance with the HSE Management System, aligned with One Maestro Principles and oriented to safeguard the integrity of people, the environment and Company's assets and reputation.
  • Promote R&D projects for decarbonization through digital, using AI for integrated and optimized solutions.
  • Be TotalEnergies EP Brasil focal point for developing Numeric solutions, advanced analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and new technologies.
  • Keep TotalEnergies EP Brasil Digital Officer updated on TotalEnergies EP Brasil R&D Digital projects and prospects foreseen.
  • Responsible for screening numeric solutions available, identifying possible improvements and/or new technologies to be developed.
  • Participate as technical duet in contracts negotiations of the scouted topics and ensure contracts are signed on due time.
  • Scouting of local universities and startups to identify the ones with higher technical capabilities in Brazil on digital matters.
  • Identify, propose, and develop R&D collaborations & projects with local universities, laboratories, providers, and O&G partners.
  • Ensure that ANP documentation is done with good quality (and as per ANP regulations) and submitted to ANP on time.
  • Issue of R&D reports to OneTech R&D and TDF on due time.
  • Build TotalEnergies EP Brasil innovation roadmap based on business objectives and goals.
  • Assure the implementation of activities to promote the Innovation Program, engage stakeholders and support the innovation focal points.
  • Establish partnerships with startups, incubators, universities, and other actors of the innovation ecosystem.
  • Facilitate innovation transfers across business units.
  • Promote innovation projects and innovations; Give public talks and represent Innovation Program at internal and external events.

Context and environment

  • ANP requires Oil Company's based in Brazil their full compliance with the 1% levy obligation through local and eligible R&D investments.
  • TotalEnergies EP Brasil is required to be fully compliant with ANP Regulation to avoid important fines and to ensure license to operate.
  • TotalEnergies EP Brasil launched an innovation program to foster the mindset and culture of innovation and to promote technological and nontechnological innovations aiming to enhance the quality of the working life and the company operational excellence.
  • A person that is first very curious and that can have or get knowledge in data and Numeric domains.
  • Background envisaged on engineering and/or Data/Numeric.
  • Demonstrated experience in transverse project management.
  • Required experience (on two or more) on the following technical skills: Numeric, Data, AI, Machine Learning, computational methods
  • Required experience in innovation management.
  • Managerial skills to supervise/coordinate projects with Accredited Institutions and Brazilian Companies.
  • Good skills in communication and interfaces management.
  • Excellent technical analysis, interpersonal, oral, and written communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Portuguese and English language skills are mandatory/to be acquired, knowledge in French is a plus.
