- This role involves performing Safety Analysis for Signalling projects and Products at Alstom São Paulo site to ensure compliance with Safety Requirements and acceptable risk levels.
- Responsibilities include managing safety activities, supporting Safety Assurance Engineer, and collaborating with Internal and External Independent Safety Assessors, Project team, customers, and Safety consultants.
- Engage in various technical aspects of Engineering Safety demonstration such as Hazard Analysis, Safety Related Items list, Hardware Analysis, and Hazard Log.
- Define and communicate safety requirements efficiently to mitigate railway safety risks.
- Support Project Quality Manager in Safety Design Review and Safety Authorization processes.
- Lead Safety Issue resolution processes and manage Safety Assurance Engineers to ensure Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets are met.
- Implement Alstom Railway Safety Process & Instructions and actively contribute to design assessments and safety process enhancements.
- Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree.
- Desirable understanding of Signalling systems.
- Skills in Autonomy, analytical thinking, teamwork, and communication.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Rigorous and detail-oriented.
- Execute Safety analyses effectively, adhere to standards, and prioritize quality in project deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to detail, and task focus.
- Be structured, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Act with urgency, anticipate issues, and lead activities within a team environment.
- Display resilience and the ability to make critical decisions to ensure project delivery.
- Knowledge of railway and signalling systems, electronics, and familiarity with CENELEC Standards.
