Job Summary:

Would you like to be part of the promise of a new Industrial Revolution and take customers to the next decade? We are looking for a Solution Design Specialist, who will be part in the design, delivery, and maintenance of Automation & Digital integrated solutions for all 3 business Processing, Packaging, and Services.

You will act on providing quotations, and technical specifications, leading project implementation and supporting sales to drive the business. You will report directly to the Solution Design Manager Americas.
You will be travelling up to 25 % of your time.
You can be based in Monte Mor or São Paulo office (Brazil).
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring working visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do:

As a Solution Design Specialist, you will:

Understand customer needs and translates them into requirements and specifications (solution architecture);
Provide cost calculation and technical specification preparation for all defined scope;
Specify hardware, software and resources needed for projects and services;
Collaborate with engineers, project managers and account managers in L1, L2 and L3 pre projects and projects;
Support sales on technical discussions with customer;
Manage contractors and ensure compliance with all relevant Tetra Pak standards, in the design, installation, and commissioning of automation systems;
Support sales on presentations and showing value of Automation & Digital portfolio;
Carry out customer visits assisting Account Managers and deliver customer assessment;
Maintain a strong network with different areas and stakeholders in the 3 business (Processing, Packaging and Services).

We believe you have:

Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field;
Advanced English proficiency and basic Spanish is a plus;
At least 3 years of experience in the industrial automation sector;
Experience in the food & beverage industry is preferred;
Solid Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) technologies such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), SCADAs (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), programming, and commissioning activities;
Knowledge of electrical control systems, instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, ASI);
Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Virtualization, and Industrial Network integration is a plus;
Proven understanding of automation platforms, systems design, processing equipment, and processes;
Experience with Tetra Pak Automation Platform (Tetra Pak PlantMaster) is a plus;
Good communication skills;
Ability to work and meet deadlines under pressure;
Dynamism to work with simultaneous demands and projects;
Teamwork attitude;
