ABS Interns are integrated into ABS business HR and will experience various aspects of HR review, technical problem solving, and/or research and development.

Interns will work with a designated advisor to learn and develop skills relating to ABS's HR business functions while also assisting ABS with key deliverables.

It is expected that interns will be assigned multiple projects throughout the course of their internship.


What You Will Do:


  • The primary function of an intern is to develop skills and knowledge of ABS HR business functions including but not limited to:
  • Inputting information into the system.
  • Extract and analyze reports.
  • Monitoring and supporting the human resources subareas.
  • Preparing and managing control spreadsheets.
  • Supporting the hiring and termination of employees.
  • Supporting the control and payment of benefits.
  • Training support.
  • Supporting administrative activities, monitoring indicators, providing internal assistance to employees and developing projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be available to work for 6 hours and have at least two more years to to graduate.
  • Advanced English.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI are preferred.
  • Must be a fulltime student currently enrolled in an accredited university disciplines:
  • Administration
  • Psychology
  • Obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.

Reporting Relationships:

The Internship Program is housed in an HR Cost Center. This position does not have any direct reports.
