Full Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that the products and services are delivered to Brennan IT clients with high quality outcomes for the client and Brennan IT. This will involve all aspects of delivery including Consulting, Requirements Gathering, Documentation, Solution Design, Training, Delivery of solution, UAT and Go-Live Support as well as support requests where required.
  • Work with the Project Manager to define and plan project delivery, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Technical delivery of projects by the most efficient means possible.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered as per the implementation methodology.
  • Ensure billable hour targets are met.
  • Strive for high client satisfaction scores.
  • Ensure all work performed is of a high technical and quality standard.
  • Promote Brennan products and services creating new business opportunities.
  • Perform any other task required to fulfil this role.
  • Customer Engagement & Commercial Development.
  • Participate in the presales process accessing the clients' needs.
  • Technical solution design and proposal writing.
  • Obtain and maintain industry certifications.
  • To be actively involved in Brennan IT's Best Practice and Continuous Improvement program.
  • To review, create and maintain internal documentation and processes with the primary goal of achieving service delivery efficiencies.
  • Ensure all activities are accurately logged in the Brennan IT incident management system.
  • Ensure all activities are logged in a timely fashion for client billing.

Required Background and Skills:


  • Industry technical certifications including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Governance & Security, Nintex Forms & Workflow.
  • Business Intelligence skills (Data Warehousing).
  • Dynamics/CRM skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications.
  • ITIL Foundation level training.
  • PRINCE2 Project management certification.
  • Current Microsoft certifications will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Minimum 5 years IT technical service delivery experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with solution architecture and deployment of at least 3 of; Hypervisor implementation (VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix), On-Premises Hosting (Hyperconverged Infrastructure or Traditional 3Tier Clustering), End User Experience (Endpoint Management, Desktop Virtualisation), Cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), Networking (Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki), Microsoft Windows Server (OS, common roles and features and SQL).
  • Ability to autonomously manage daytoday client and technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a billable hour target environment.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Presales and proposal writing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce project technical documentation which includes but not limited to High Level and Detailed Design documents, Assessments/Reports, Migration and Test Plans, As-Built documents, and User Guides.
  • In a 24/7, 99.95% availability environment Brennan requires all technical staff to be reasonably available to service incidents should they are arisen.
  • Responsible to understand, adhere with and deliver services in accordance with the information security requirements identified in the Brennan IT Information Security Policy, its supporting security procedures, and guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent decision making/problem solving skills.
  • Experience in working solo and in teams.
  • Selfmotivated with a desire to develop technically and professionally.
  • Commercial acumen able to step outside the technical solution and communicate business value of a solution.
