Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as a technical presales consultant in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customerfacing role.
  • 5 years of experience building, leading, and scaling Sales or Business Development teams.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.

Preferred qualifications:


  • 5 years of experience in technology sales acquiring new customers.
  • Experience unlocking new opportunities.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management capabilities, and ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines.
  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish fluently.

About the job:


As a Scaled Sales Manager, you will build a high-performing team of sales representatives to acquire and onboard digital native mid-market customers to Google Cloud Platform.

In this role, you will develop and execute an acquisition strategy, identify initiatives and assign objectives, and participate actively in all aspects of building a hyper-growth business.

You will work closely with executive sales leaders, customer engineering, and other support teams to develop and execute an acquisition strategy for multiple territories throughout South America.

Responsibilities:


  • Build a highperforming sales team to acquire new GCP customers. Coach and develop a culture of excellence that attracts and retains a diverse team of talent.
  • Achieve team goals to maximize business growth by focusing on motivating, enabling, and developing the team to be successful. Manage regular forecasts and business reviews.
  • Manage executive stakeholders through regular progress updates.
  • Navigate ambiguity, prioritize among competing priorities, and quickly learn Google Cloud's systems, value propositions, and customer success stories.
  • Communicate the business value and capabilities of Google Cloud Platform to engage and inspire executives (CEO/CIO/CFO) and prospective customers to partner with Google.
