Responsible for procurement of goods and services (i.e. indirect materials) with a strong focus on relationship management with key internal & external stakeholders for all procurement related activities, globally. Mitigate risks to SAP and contribute to SAP's strategy & objectives.


Core tasks include:

  • Collaborate closely with local businesses and align sourcing strategies and activities with their business objectives
  • Provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders on procurement procedures, policies and processes
  • Determine business requirements and gather specifications
  • Translate business requirements/needs into purchasing requirements
  • Create and implement strategies (sourcing and supplier strategies) and develop strategic category plans
  • Seek continuously opportunities for improvements, innovations and saving opportunities
  • Perform market analysis/benchmarking and explore market capability to gain market intelligence
  • Ensure risk and compliance along the endtoend SourcetoPay process
  • Conduct competitive tenders, bidding by utilizing sourcing cloud solution
  • Negotiate and manage agreements/contracts by utilizing contract cloud solution
  • Manage supplier relationships & lifecycle from onboarding, supplier evaluation and development until phaseout
  • Improve and develop procurement processes, policies and procedures continuously
  • Manage projects of different size and complexity with local, regional or global focus
  • Give guidance and manage collaboration to the operations team in the Shared Service Centre
  • Work on contracts negotiation, tickets support strategy

Experience & Language Requirements

  • Portuguese Fluent
  • English Fluent
  • Spanish Fluent

Education
Highest school degree

And/or at least 1-2 years' experience in the finance or commercial areas with a proven performance track record.
