JOINT VENTURE ACCOUNTING ANALYST

Estimated Contract duration: 12 months with 2 options for a 1-year extension

Estimated Start date: January 2023

Daily Activities
1) Analyze and prepare Cash Calls and Billings Statements;
2) Comparison actual vs budget related to capex and opex for projects (operated and non operated) and follow up analysis;
3) Support on Month Closing running Cutback, Settlement and Overhead calculation;
4) Support of Joint Venture Accounting and reconciliation with General Accounting;
5)

SOX:
Guarantee that all SOX requirements are being met during the routine activities and performed according to respective deadlines;
6) Strong interaction with the JV Team in all aspects of joint ventures regarding the Blocks;
7) Compliance with all financial aspects of JOAs to ensure an appropriate level of financial controls in the business as example budgets and partners questionings.

HSE

Respect HSE policies and Company code of ethics and conduct;
Maintain medical exams as described in the PCMSO;
Participate in HSE training and seminars;
To know the emergency response routine and participate in simulated exercises;
Collaborate in the maintenance of 5S of the office and in the selective waste collection;
Communicate to the HSE all situations of risk and accidents in the company.

Qualifications/Experience required

University degree on Accounting, Administration, Economy or Production Engineering;
Excellent IT skills (MS Office focus on Excel Advanced) and SAP Experience;
Used to work under pressure and with sharp deadlines;
Skills of organization, big picture perspective, analytical and critical analysis;
Excellent interpersonal relationship (will have interface with other departments);
Proactivity and multifocal tasks;
Result Oriented;
Fluent Portuguese, with capabilities in English at least Intermediate;
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry will be a differential;
At least 3 years of experience.
