Purpose of position
Data sits at the heart of the company.

Our mission is to ensure that Awin is able to leverage the data it has access to across the group and build out reporting to ensure we are able to make better commercial decisions and provide best-in-class campaign management to support client facing department.


As a Data Analyst, you will be part of a team that helps to shape the future of reporting across the company.

Your responsibility is to help provide best in class solutions to allow client facing departments to better understand performance and provide insightful recommendations to their clients.

You will also support internal reporting requirements to help drive the business forward.


Within the role, you proactively seek exchange with members across the wider data services department as well as the stakeholders you are creating reports for.

You will be expected to work within an agile framework to ensure that as a department we are responding to our stakeholders' requirements as efficiently as possible.


Key Tasks & accountabilities

  • Produce and maintain reports
  • Ensure scalability with creating templates that are applicable across the whole group
  • Fully utilise Awin ́s business intelligence tools to produce market leading insight at a network, sector and individual client level as requested
  • Recommend revisions to existing reports and developing new reporting tools and KPIs
  • Develop dashboards of additional reports and customer insight pieces to help support various teams in the business
  • Support colleagues and local markets with data projects and assistance
  • Oversee onboarding of new team members and takes over buddy role
  • Oversee working students, coordinates and prioritizes their daily work in alignment with the supervisor and the team

Education & experience

  • At least 1+ years in Business Intelligence, Business Analysis or account management
  • Experience in data analysis, data modeling and working with large databases
  • Strong skills in MS Excel
  • Experience of business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Reporting Services)
  • Some knowledge of online/media or similar fast moving technology based industry. Knowledge of affiliate marketing is not essential but there will be a requirement to become familiar with the business model as soon as possible. Full training will be offered.
  • Fluent English
  • Basic knowledge of another language is desirable

  • Addressing needs for help for themselves and for more junior team members if needed
  • Openmindedness and willingness to change and learn or start initiatives
  • Ability to work with various teams within the business
  • Strong customer focus and service attitude
  • Strong presentation skills with data visualization experience preferable
  • Strong team player is a must, comfortable working with remote teams
