DepartmentCompliance- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationBrazil - São PauloThe Compliance and Risk Management team ensures that Shopee complies with applicable regulations and is primed for success with the right checks and balances while safeguarding the interests of our stakeholders in an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem.

The team manages potential risks to the company's operations and reputation through risk assessments, internal fraud control, employee training as well as the implementation of information technology policy and cyber security tools.

Be responsible for taking the lead role in maintaining daily operational and direct supervision of all activities within the Compliance department for onboarding sellers and buyers;
Monitor and perform the necessary procedures applicable to the Know Your Customer (KYC) process;
Perform account maintenance and also accept (Onboarding) sellers on our platform;
Create, implement and enforce KYC policies, procedures and regulations within Shopee Brasil;
Assist in all ongoing compliance review processes, including required filings, reports to the regulator, policies and procedures;
Create and enforce policies for the detection and prevention of fraudulent activities in the business and customer activities;
Responsible for support testing and implementing of key controls and checks for KYC Operation teams to maintain the Quality Control framework.
