Job Purpose and Impact


The Real Estate Portfolio Operations Associate Director will develop and deliver global operational excellence to the company's Real Estate data portfolio.

In this role, you will drive design, implementation and continuous improvement for Cargill's Real Estate portfolio data management, both from a system and process perspective.

You'll directly oversee Real Estate Data Operations, and closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges associated with the real estate data portfolio and ensuring high data quality.

Key Accountabilities


Lead the operating model of Real Estate Portfolio Data Operations, collaborating closely with leadersin-region Real Estate leaders on continuous improvement across Real Estate contract lifecycle, influencing senior leadership and understanding global complexity.


Develop an integrated end to end process in alignment with the global technology roadmap and data management strategy, integrating the sub processes and enabling our processes with people, technology and data.

Primary liaison to lease accounting and lease technology teams.


Evolve the capability associated with the process, designing and implementing ways to build the capability, identifying opportunities and optimizing processes for improved user experience.


Manage lease administration process which includes submitting documentation for abstraction, reviewing data for accuracy, resolving critical issues by researching and gathering information about lease terms and other items as requested.


Prepare and distribute periodic and ad hoc reports in a timely, accurate manner which includes the portfolio summary report, critical dates report, and contacts report, and run meetings to review the overall portfolio, leased sites and key dates.

Drive continuous growth of the capability through regular review of processes, policies, data standards and success measures.


Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.

You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Strong previous related work experience

Advanced English language skill is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

Three years of supervisory experience

Minimum of 10 years commercial real estate experience

Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant or in lease administration

Experience with large, global real estate portfolios

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to solve problems. Requires basic analytical skills.

Knowledge of lease administration databases

Strong ability to track and follow-up on tasks to ensure deadlines are met
