Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities


This role should act as the center of the strategy development, planning and execution for the Warehouse & Transportation Operations Support area for Deliver J&J Innovative Medicine.

This area works side by side with the logistics operations team in Latin America (11 distribution centers in 9 countries).

Responsibilities will involve organizing demands, needs and projects from different areas and stakeholders, ensuring connection between budget, performance, facilities, systems, and strategic initiatives management.


The position creates & enhance the proper capabilities required to drive the regional & global strategy execution, guaranteeing speed and harmonization for standards roll out in all countries for Janssen LatAm Deliver operations.


  • Ensure proper organization of demands, projects, goals and needs versus workload and capacity of Operational support team.
  • Lead the WH&T and Operational Support team to ask and receive any kind of new capability or project.
  • Act as a focal point for any new capability needed and deploy resolution with the team.
  • Create and rollout operational capabilities and standards through all Latin America countries.
  • Be a benchmark for operational capabilities with deep knowledge of operations and each country specificities.
  • Problem solving mindset with great sense of urgency, using creativity to implement complex and disruptive ideas.
  • Work closely with analytical and IBP team to proper monitor KPIs and develop action plans when needed.
  • Recognize risks and opportunities in all Warehouse & Transportation environment, developing and implementing proper BCPs.
  • Lead and partner with project sponsors, project managers, and crossfunctional teams to plan, scope and identify requirements and resources for existing and new initiatives.
  • Identify short and longrange investment requirements to deploy the operational capabilities across the region.
  • Leads governances, communications, and reporting regional operational Leaders and Teams.
  • Identify industryleading practices and perform external benchmarking as required.
  • Manages multiple priorities and work in a virtual team environment.
  • Adheres to all EHS&S and Compliance procedures.
  • Manage team interdependencies to ensure confirm deliverables are best positioned for completion, avoiding duplication of efforts and disconnected processes / steps driving efficient partnership and synergy amongst all key members of the team.
  • Guarantee the right level of relationship with our stakeholders to deliver the bestinclass URS & partnership from operational team.

Other duties:

  • Identify and champion a talent development strategy (JJSC People Strategy) for high potential and high performing talent for the segment.
  • Engage both with internal & external sources to drive continuous improvement for the organization and benchmarks.
  • Drive a CREDO based culture across W&T organization.
  • Drive a culture of Safety, Compliance & Financial Acumen.

Qualifications:


Required Minimum Education:


  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Advanced English and Spanish is a must.
  • Other: Advanced degree like MA and MBA preferred.
  • Min. 5+ years in endtoend supply chain related disciplines. Experience in Logistics (warehouse, transportation, customer service and projects) are preferred.
  • Excellent organization skills, capacity to receive great amount of information, consolidate and pass on.
  • Excellent connection skills, great communication (written and oral) are needed.
  • Capacity to create strategic frameworks, project designs and leadership reports.
  • Proven ability to go from plan to execution.
  • Strategic skills especially in strategic thinking and strategy implementation in a matrix, complex and global environment.
  • Ability to drive process improvement and value creation across the business.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; a master's or additional certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills managing multiple projects simultaneously that involves internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead by influence as will serve as a focal point for +20 other supervisors and managers.
  • Experience managing timelines, budget, risks for each project, and ability to respond flexibly to changing project priorities and work assignments.
  • Experience with "agile, scrum, FPX, etc. will be valued.
  • Financial and Compliance Acumen.
  • Availability for travel (up to 30% time)
