Role overview


We are looking for a highly strategic and commercial individual to provide strategy and insight to our advisory clients - as a department leader they will ensure delivery of the highest quality of work across all Mindset projects and should constantly be pushing industry boundaries in their role as a Mindset brand ambassador.


Working collaboratively across the global Mindset team and wider WGSN business, they should lead and inspire, contributing to the development of the Mindset team.

They are responsible for leading and developing their assigned client relationships, delivering multiple, complex, strategic projects that exceed client expectations and achieving financial KPI's to ensure the growth of the regional business.

They are a confident presenter and an excellent communicator who displays leadership both to the teams they work with at Ascential and to clients.


Key accountabilities- Responsibility for maintaining the strategic & creative standards of the LATAM advisory output, ensuring clients are given innovative solutions that build client relationships.- Build and foster client relationships, understanding and exploring clients' requirements to uncover new opportunities and anticipate client needs.

Develop and drive revenue growth for their region through client focused, trend research solutions, delivering on financial KPI's and other metrics as set out in annual plans.- Lead interactions with senior stakeholders; delivering and presenting insight and analysis in an engaging and inspiring manner.- Responsible for projects being delivered in a relevant and comprehensive manner with actionable recommendations that drive growth for client's businesses.- Synthesize WGSN's proprietary trend intelligence with qualitative insight and analysis to develop actionable insights that respond to clients' needs.- Conduct and oversee qualitative primary and secondary research across a variety of methodologies and deliver analysis that provides actionable recommendations that will benefit clients' future business.- Development of business networks with the wider WGSN team - building strong relationships with Account management and content leaders, as well as senior management,- Lead the LATAM team, partnering with the Commercial & Operational Manager to build a strong and growth oriented regional team.

Role includes line management with responsibility performance & development.

Skills, experience & qualifications required- Proven experience within consulting, strategy, consumer insight, design, research or content creation, familiar with the workings of agency and consulting models.

Experience with trends and forecasting is a plus.- Experience implementing strategy for a team, translating direction into an actionable plan for the LATAM region- Strong leadership and influencing skills; interacting with C-Suite stakeholders and leading/developing teams; highly personable, curious, flexible and strategic thinker- Ability to take ownership of assigned area/discipline, prioritise workload, lead, manage and support other members of team.

High level of proficiency in leading strategic projects and initiatives across multiple teams and time zones- Good organisation, communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead and work within an international team to ensure strategy & outputs are of a consistently high standard.- Able to deliver multiple concurrent projects successfully, striving for excellence to exceed client expectations and push industry standards- Excellent at all forms of communication and collaboration, including presentation and writing skills; high degree of numeracy.

- Data literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, Social Media platforms
