Start2 Group launched its activities in South America in August 2023 and opened its regional hub in Buenos Aires in March 2024.

Scale startups :
from Germany and other markets to South America (especially Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay) and to connect South American startups with our hubs around the world (US, Europe, Asia).
Become an active player in the local innovation scene : building a local team, mentor network, startup challenges, innovation meetups etc.
Engage with new potential partners and clients : from governments to corporates interested in cross-border innovation initiatives.
With the newly established position as Senior Manager, South America in Sao Paulo, we aim to strengthen our presence in one of the key markets in the region.
Responsibilities Include:
Increasing Start2's presence in Brazil by actively engaging with the local ecosystem (attending events, hosting events, increasing the network of mentors, investors, corporates and partners to engage with Start2 and our startups)Managing programs end-to-end for international startups to explore opportunities in Brazil and the region, including agenda management, individual guidance for the startups, vendor management for pitch nights and B2B matching etc.
Jointly developing an ecosystem and partner strategy for Brazil with senior managementManaging partnerships from inception to execution, including developing terms, executing agreements, onboarding new partners, and ensuring partner and ecosystem successMeasuring and reporting performance
What you bring to the role:You have 7+ years of experience, including working in the startup world in a role that allowed you to build strong ties to your local as well as the national startup ecosystem.
You are comfortable wearing many hats and do not shy away from ad-hoc projects and tasks.
You have a proven track record of participating in the discourse around technology, startups, and investment offline as well as on social media.
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese (other languages, especially Spanish, are a plus but not required).
