About the Role

In this role you'll be an account manager for the Brazil Clinical Solutions Sales team. Responsible for enhancing Elsevier presence in the Brazilian market. Mainly to Hospitals, health systems, medical schools and universities. Additional responsibilities include renewals, upsell/cross-selling, solution training, and continuous customer satisfaction. Travel is required 50-60% of the time.


Responsibilities:


  • Managing and retaining existing customer base and improving overall customer satisfaction.
  • Leading contract renewals and enhancing solution upsell/crosssell of Elsevier Clinical Solutions.
  • Providing accurate reporting, monthly forecasting of renewal sales,
keeping current records and building account profiles. Updating all account and contact information. Including managing account data in our systems. (Managing all renewal leads/opportunities in Sales Force).

  • Driving renewals (and upsell opportunities) within your assigned
territory/accounts to meet or exceed quota and annual sales targets.

  • Monitoring the stability of accounts. Utilizing usage metrics,
client satisfaction feedback and developing plans of action to support the overall account strategy.

  • Scheduling trainings and solution demonstration of products, facilitating agreement renewal and new sales processes.
  • Participating in events and visits when necessary to demonstrate
  • Collaborating effectively with all internal stakeholders. Including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Implementation.

Requirements:


  • Experience selling to hospitals, health systems, medical schools and universities is valued.
  • Experience in field Sales, solution training, and customer satisfaction management. (Using sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Franklin Covey or similar.)
  • Have customer focus & empathy with customers and maintain excellent relationships. Coupled with the ability to communicate well, verbally and written. (Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish is valued.)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, while recognizing potential sales obstacles and recommending inclusive solutions.
  • Able to effectively plan, prioritize, and problem solve.
  • Be highly selfmotivated, organized and able to manage own time.
  • Have a college Education in Business Administration, or related areas valued.
