What you'll do:

As an R&D Manager, you will play an instrumental role in Electrolux's strategy, leading your team in designing and developing products to deliver great consumer experiences, driving innovation, modularization and connectivity.

In detail, you will:

Act as a people leader, using your experience in the R&D area to lead design and development of products to deliver great consumer experiences, following a crossfunctional collaborative approach to meet quality, costs and timing requirements;
Act as a technical partner and collaborator to the LA Food Preparation Product Line and the CX Food Preparation R&D team in the execution and definition of requirements for new product development;
Develop a strong R&D team for area, nourishing competencies and collaboration skills for the team through npeople development and coaching;
Set up annual budgets to allow LA R&D Food Preparation to develop all activities coordinating office resources and allocation, interfacing other CX areas for complete integration and working in close collaboration across functions;
Provide R&D expertise required to deliver on robust product development, including the disciplines of design for automation and design for manufacturing and assembly;
Take charge of C-Star, SCR and annual direct material cost reduction targets as they relate to product design;
Actively work with the product line teams to elaborate and execute a competitive generation plan, carrying out the area's generation plan in regards to the translation of product specifications into engineered systems and components;
Study Brazilian and emerging market environments, aiming for the optimization products for markets throughout Latin America;
Take charge of the life cycle product care for the supplied products;
Comply and ensure compliance with Electrolux's Sustainability Policy and the specific standards of each LA country.
Lead and promote diversity and an innovational culture in the teams under your responsibility;
Manage product manuals, documentation, certification, and maintenance, including cost and quality improvement;
Become a reference point for the Business Area for any questions related to product performance, planning, feasibility, and manufacturability.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:

You have:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
Solid experience as an R&D manager;
Solid experience with team management;
Solid experience with project management;
Advanced English (Spanish is a plus).

Where you'll be:
You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba.
