Main responsibilities:
- Design and execution of analyses, reports and dashboards on the project portfolio, relevant to:
- Monitoring progress and forecasting deliveries of short and long-term innovation financial metrics, including identification of risks and opportunities
- Alignment of the portfolio with the strategy and defined growth ambitions
- Portfolio and resource/budget allocation optimization. Prioritization suggestions and impact analysis based on ROI.
- Leadership and execution of discussion and decisionmaking forums regarding the portfolio, focused on:
- Portfolio sufficiency to deliver short and long-term innovation financial metrics.
- Alignment of the portfolio with the strategy and defined growth ambitions
- Monitoring the progress of executing the project portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities, potential impact on short and long-term innovation financial metrics
- Portfolio and resource/budget allocation optimization
- Coordination of the execution of the process and forum of the Innovation Management Framework (IMF corporate governance for management and stagegates of innovation projects)
- Administration, execution of activities under the responsibility of Data & Portfolio Management, and coordination of activities under the responsibility of other areas relating to the collection of planning data and financial goals for innovation projects in the ION system (corporate financial data management tool for Innovation agenda). Monitoring quality and opportunities in the execution of established processes and collected data, leading the design and implementation of improvements.
Experience and requirements:
- Bachelor ́s Degree in Engineering, Administration, Finance, or related areas
- Experience of 5 years or more in Innovation Project Portfolio Management
- Knowledge of the P&L (Profit & Loss) structure and calculation methodology
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerBI
- Strategic and business vision, ability to translate strategy into actions.
- Solid influence, stakeholder management, collaboration, alignment, and teamwork skills.
- Creativity and analytical rigor
- Language
- English fluent / Spanish Intermediate level for conversation
Desirable requirements:
- PMP Certification desirable
- Postgraduate / MBA desirable
- Knowledge of financial modeling
