DepartmentProduct Management- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationBrazil - São PauloThe Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams.

The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals.

It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service.

About the Team:


  • The Product Management team acts as a bridge between the regional product management office in Asia and the local teams in Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico). The team aims to identify gaps and understand the needs in the local markets and subsequently enhance existing features or initiate new features that can be localised to the individual market needs. These features include notifications, orders, promotions, antifraud and many others. These localisation initiatives are pivotal to Shopee's growth in our markets.
  • Engage local business stakeholders and functional leaders in the regional offices to implement longterm and sustainable product solutions that best suit the local market.
  • Identify and initiate opportunities for product improvement, through datadriven insights, user research, and a deep understanding of our market & business goals.
  • Gather and effectively prioritise business and product opportunities, and ensure alignment with all stakeholders.
  • Analyse, align, and evaluate business requirements, feasibility, and value of the feature requests to deliver localised Business Requirement Document (BRD).
  • Work closely with crossfunctional product management teams to implement product features and to ensure the successful delivery of these features to respective markets.
  • Prioritise and resolve any issues that are escalated in a timely manner and promptly communicate the progress for critical live issues.
  • Able to create and optimise working processes to improve crossregion collaboration.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology, Business.
  • Proficiency in English to facilitate crossborder discussions and collaborations with stakeholders across the region.
  • Experience in eCommerce or product management will be advantageous.
  • Logical and possesses excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and comfortable to engage stakeholders from different levels.
  • Experience in one or more of our local markets (Brazil, Colombia, Chile & Mexico) will be highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical team members.
