Position Description

Vehicle Engineering LAm is an organization responsible for the development of the Trucks used in Latin America, interacting with other VE sites.

In this position, you will be part of the VE - Vehicle Integration and Strategy team, dedicated to secure a complete offer of Trucks for the Latin American Market.

Responsibilities / Main tasks

The Vehicle Integration Project Manager is responsible to secure that we have a good cross-functional delivery for the projects (JIRA Epics) related to Product Development (Product Changes and Product Modifications), from the pre-study phase until the Start-of-Production.

In this position, you will lead Product Modifications and/or Epics that are part of a bigger program.
You will be leading the pre-studies and deliveries in the early phases like; Concept preparation, alignment among product owners & all solution providers, acceptance criteria (incl.

V&V activities) definition and agreement with key stakeholders, cross-functional development maturity progress alignment (to reach stable releases), securement of Business Cases to get ready for decisions and confirmation of Start of Production (with high confidence).

In the late phases you will lead the final development of the Epics/solutions and work in close cooperation with Chief Project Managers to secure the industrialization.

Qualifications

Strong drive and energy level with ability to create a high performing crossfunctional working team
Assertive communication and with good influencing skills
Understand the need of stakeholder management at different levels
Result oriented and always looking for improvements in our way of working
Experience from product development of Trucks and/or Buses
Education in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical /Mechatronics / Production /Industrial)
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
PMP certification is a plus
