    The Frontend Web Development Grader plays a key role in the instructional team. Graders leverage their expertise to evaluate student work using established rubrics and feedback templates. They ensure precise and fair grading, provide valuable feedback, and deliver results promptly.

    Responsibilities include grading support (utilizing JavaScript, HTML, and CSS) for the following courses:

    • WDD 130 - Web Fundamentals
    • WDD 131 – Dynamic Web Fundamentals
    • WDD 231 - Web Frontend Development I
    • WDD 330 - Web Frontend Development II

    These courses equip students with essential web design and development skills, preparing them for collaborative work on web projects.

    • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is desirable
    • Equivalent education or work experience will be considered
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON is a must
    • Familiarity with key web design principles: simplicity, responsiveness, usability, and visual design
    • Strong grasp of fundamental web design and development concepts, including DOM manipulation, form handling, event management, JavaScript functions, CSS styling, and data retrieval methods
    • Experience with version control tools like GitHub
    • Familiarity with code editors such as Visual Studio Code
    • Proficiency in browser tools like Chrome Developer Tools
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Efficient and accurate execution of test cases
    • Ability to troubleshoot and refine imperfect code quickly
    • Clear and effective written communication skills
