Role Summary:


Operation of motor graders, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, tractors, and roller compactors, performing activities related to the process of construction and maintenance of forest roads, ensuring that the operations are carried out following standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity, according to the operational planning.

In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Operate motor graders, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, tractors, and roller compactors, performing road construction operations, works of art and derived operations, safely, respecting operating procedures.
  • Evaluate working conditions of machines through daily inspection.
  • Filling out the daily note of the machines, registering data relative to the amount of fuel used, amount of hours worked, occurrences, area worked, etc.
  • Report mechanical, electrical and/or electronic problems, incidents that occur during the work day, as well as communicate irregularities found in the machine, so that it can be sent to the repair shop when necessary.
  • Assist in basic maintenance services on equipment, and support the washing of machines and equipment in the field.
  • Comply with the internal regulations, the requirements of the quality management systems and the work safety norms inherent to the sector, as well as the use of PPE's/CPE's (Personal Protective Equipment/Collective Protective Equipment) when the activity so requires.
  • Read and interpret the microplanning maps of the areas, following the guidelines contained in them.
  • Perform/support quality controls, performing or supporting the adjustment of equipment when necessary.


10 - Correctly use the equipment (work gear, work speed, use of transmission resources, etc.), as well as the technologies on board (autopilot, rate control system, journey control system).

1- Carry out the notes correctly through the operational control system.

1- Drive light vehicles when necessary.


1- Develop other activities inherent to the position or at the discretion of their immediate superior, provided that they are qualified and in accordance with their knowledge and experience.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A basic school certificate.
  • Relevant working exposure or experience in a similar role.
  • Willing to relocate to the job location.
