- Responsible to compile, sort, and verify documents (AR Reconciliation, bills, invoices, wires, etc.).
- You will perform operational functions related to Escheatment and cash applications, including account reconciliation ensuring proper application of funds, research, and resolution of discrepancies.
- As part of your role, you will assist in the preparation of the backups for Journal Entries and Certifications for GL team, reports, and daily account reconciliations.
- You need to ensure accurate and complete processing within Service Level Agreements.
- You will communicate with Stakeholders to find, fix, and Solve queries as well as responsible for escalating issues and follow-up with management as necessary.
- You need to comply with Western Union Internal policies and applicable regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or related. Or equivalent skills are required, with at least 2 years of related experience in Digital or Traditional Banks in Brazil in operations or customer support areas.
- 1-3 years of experience in foreign exchange product accounting and Brazil payment system accounting
- Multiple sources reconciliations (processors, banks, FX transactions)
- Strong knowledge in of MS Office Tools (emphasis on excel)
- Strong English communication skills 67% - B2 (Minimum).
- High sense of urgency, proactivity, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting implementation projects.
- Strong Settlement Knowledge is a plus.
