About the Team:

  • Shopee Xpress accounting team is responsible for the daily booking of the entire entity, comprising also the operation. Has a closer relationship with the logistic operation, procurement, rental, accounts payable, accounts receivable end treasury teams.
  • Responsible for the local accounting monthly closing activities, including reporting, preparing and reviewing reconciliations (end to end);
  • Bridging Local x US GAAP;
  • Account variance analysis for reporting purpose (MoM, YoY and explanations);
  • Support daily AP, AR and Treasury functions, ensuring efficient and accurate finance processes for all local operations;
  • Assist in ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements;
  • Preparation of accounting obligations and ancillary declarations (ECD);
  • Interface with internal and external auditors.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  • Working experience in accounting;
  • Experience working in an outsourcing accounting company;
  • Advanced English written and spoken;
  • Knowledge in IFRS and US GAAP;
  • Advanced Excel user;
  • Flexibility to work in a fastpaced environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Experience in logistics institutions is a plus;
  • Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
