Role Overview


We're excited to welcome the role of Human Resources Generalist, Brazil to our growing company The individual in this role should have a passion for all things people operations and should have a genuine appreciation and understanding that people are the true competitive advantage and the foundation of a company's success.


The Human Resources Generalist will run the daily administrative functions of the Human Resource (HR) department with our Brazil based employee population, including labor relations tasks, employment law compliance tasks, payroll administration, benefits and leave, and enforce company policies and practices.


What You'll Do:


  • Day to day HR administration inclusive of payroll inputs and successful completion of HR initiatives.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employmentrelated inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong problemsolving skills and strong ability to provide consultative advisement to managers on employee related matters
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems

Education and Experience:


  • Minimum three to five years' experience in labor relations and human resources management
  • Minimum two years' experience with payroll administration and knowledge of local/federal taxes
