Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Javascript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a supervision/team leadership role.
Ability to communicate in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience designing and implementing largescale distributed systems.
Experience in a technical leadership position.

Build and manage a local team, while also providing technical guidance, strategy, and goals to the team in the wider security and privacy context.

Support the professional growth of all team members by ensuring career alignment with priorities.
Form strong partnerships across Google, aligning the team's work with the organization's overall strategic goals.
