Infrastructure and Mobility Operations Manager to join its office in
Rio de Janeiro, RJ or São Paulo, SP **within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.


Mission:


The Senior Project Manager will be responsible and accountable for executing and leading projects, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope, and budget.

This role stands at the center of a complex set of relationships among the client, staff, contractors, and subcontractors who deliver the elements of the project, being responsible for balancing the demands and expectations of these groups for a successful project.


Key Accountabilities:


Project Management:

  • Develop complex comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
  • Monitor and control project risks, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.

Client Interaction:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the consulting firm and the client.
  • Understand client needs and expectations, and work to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed those expectations.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients and address any concerns or issues.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and other professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, motivating team members to achieve project goals.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to meet project demands.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Track project expenses and resource utilization to optimize costeffectiveness.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of highquality engineering solutions.

Contract Management:

  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage any changes or disputes that may arise.
  • Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement.

Technical Expertise:

  • Leverage engineering knowledge to guide project teams in solving complex technical problems.

Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
  • Documentation
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Implement lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications:


  • 5 years of experience in engineering
  • Project Management Skills:
  • Extensive experience in project management, including the development of complex, comprehensive project plans.
  • Proven ability to oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
  • Strong skills in monitoring and controlling project risks, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong engineering knowledge to guide project teams in solving complex technical problems.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Demonstrated leadership (+5 years) in leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and other professionals.
  • Proven ability to foster a collaborative and positive team culture, motivating team members to achieve project goals.
  • Efficient allocation of resources to meet project demands.
  • Software Skills:
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
