  • Yvelines (France, Greater Paris area) with frequent missions in Europe.

MISSIONS / SERVICE OVERVIEW
Company project consists of a 12 km subsea tie back to the existing FPSO of Company field. Company project

is a Deepwater development (2100m) with technical challenges (high CO2 and waxy crude) and represents a

key asset for the development of Company.

The SUBSEA EPCI contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of SPS and SURF

facilities. It includes the procurement and fabrication of Xmas trees, rigid pipelines including pipe-in-pipe, flexible

and hybrid risers, dynamic and static umbilicals, rigid jumpers.

The Services is responsible, within the Subsea Engineering team, for following up, monitoring and supervising

Quality Control (QC) inspection activities carried out in Europe by SURF Contractor during the Procurement,

Manufacturing and Supply ensuring that QC contractual and technical requirements are duly applied by

Contractor.

The Services is responsible for the Quality Control inspection activities, such as:

  • manufacturing of the component parts for the umbilical; Super Duplex Tubes, Super Duplex Ballast rods &
Electric cables plus potentially other items for the umbilical system.
- manufacturing of subsea valves for the pipelines and Buoyancy Tank.
- manufacturing of flexible joints (rotolatch) of the hybrid riser
- manufacturing of the Riser Tension Monitoring System of the hybrid riser
- forged components

The work will cover all stages of manufacture and testing of SURF components until they are loaded out from the

supplier's sites. Inspection activities will take place in a number of sites in Europe.

Main activities:


  • To cover spot inspection activities on a number of sites in Europe.
  • To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour regarding H3SE and ensure their implementation within his/her scope of responsibility
  • To ensure that safe working practices are used within the team along all phases of project
  • To ensure, during fabrication and testing phases, that all deliverables and documents (both internal and external) related to the manufacture are timely issued and fit for purpose.
  • To ensure compliance of Contractors / Vendors deliverables and documents with Company H3SE and Project specifications.
  • To perform inspection and issue regular reports in due time, as required by the project team.
  • During inspection to check and report (randomly) parameters.
  • Close follow up of NCR.
  • Close follow up and reporting of progress
  • Assess Contractor surveillance and supplier QC performance.
  • Review and approved QC records after issuance
  • Ensure detail progress reporting (step by step, from incoming reception up to delivery)
  • To review deviations to Company specifications or deviations requests/technical queries.
  • Timely and actively liaise with other specialists of the SURF team in order to ensure consistency of the works.
  • To ensure that contractual scope of work is duly and timely performed by Contractor / vendor.
  • To ensure daily liaison with Company project team with regards to disciplinesrelated matters.
  • To participate to weekly and/or monthly coordination meetings with Contractor / vendor as appropriate.
  • To ensure followup / review / validation of progress performed by Contractor / vendor
  • To ensure adequate and timely reporting to the Discipline Leads / Subsea Engineering Manager (progress,concerns), and anticipate problems, potential optimizations or improvements and offers solutions.
  • To participate to project reviews as requested by Company requirements (HAZOP, HAZID, PR...) and prepare or participate in Safety / Technical Audits for his/her disciplines.
  • To assist Company Representatives at fabrication sites, in particular:
  • Review of all site documentation related to the project, in particular Manufacturing and Quality
plan and all other plans, procedure or reports related to project operat
