Responsibilities

What will you work on:


  • Develop capability through to define and lead the packaging automation training program to 19 plants by:
  • Develop material and tools for both, basic and advanced program training focused on operational and autonomous maintenance activities. Also training material for packaging technologies  Verification (TSC), Case packer (GUACP), strip machine, Hanco and Palletizing systems (CSI
  • Cobots), etc
  • Asure Capability at site level which implies certified operators, Quality Facilitators, Maintenance Technicians. Manage global brain platform for P.A. keeping updated on all training material. Lead packaging automation training agenda, aligned with managers based on operation necesities. Attending all requirements for P.A.

training based in the needed sites like:
Autonomous maintenance, Cookbook development, SKU commissioning, labeler operation, etc.


Support TE optimization based in:

  • Define and follow up action plan to improve secondary packaging performance, based on Packaging Automation Assessmments. Lead funtional guidance in differents activities like (TE check point, capacity increase, packaging basics program, IPS, etc) providing both operational and technical support. Follow up on performance P.A. equipment and lead periodic conference calls/sessions with site managers/frontline leaders/SETs / facilitators regarding perfomance status. Deploy monthly P.A. performance report, this information is provided for MES (manufacturing enterprise system), GUACP performance tool and manual information. For sites without MES, ensure the operation use the GUACP performance tool. Manage and keep global brain platform updated with P.A.

information like:
technical alignment, good practise, hadbooks, cookbooks, etc. Assure deployment of autonomous maintenance plan for P.A. technologies based in RCM (reliability centered maintenance) for each operation according M&R Team.


Support productivity projects:

  • With another crossfuncional area, leading an agenda and developing protocols for equipment and systems commissioning, ensuring the global and regional KPI compliance for:o Supply chain transformation projectso Smart equipment initiatives o New equimpemnts instalations
  • Drive productivity projects regarding R&D and marketing initiatives ensuring the use and compliance of protocol for new SKU and cases. Provide regular software upgrade based in OEM (Original Equipment manufacturer) improve development and ensure for each site install the last upgrade.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Degree in Engineering Process / Mechanical / Electronic / Automation. 34 years of work experience in areas related to manufacturing process / maintenance. In depth functional knowledge of Packaging technologies, as well as process factors impacting TE for the lines. 2 yearsexperience of Business Knowledge (retail / manufacturing products)
  • English (Fluent / native) Spanish (Fluent / native) Portugues (Fluent / native). Office Package
  • Must be willing to travel (Frequently 40% of time)
