***: The IT Support Specialist will -under mínimal supervisionPRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Must support 24×7 GSOC operations with off shift support on occasional onsite support during evenings or weekends.
- Identify, research and resolve the most complex technical problems in a manner that meets the end user's needs and does not expose Overhaul to any security or licensing risk.
- Assist in the documentation of common processes and procedures.
- Responsible for installation, documentation and connection of all new and existing workstations.
- Responsible for installation and maintenance of all types of software.
- Support physical network and wireless access points onsite.
- Install, configure and maintain printers and VOIP/soft phones.
- Assignment and tracking of all workstations and peripherals.
- Maintain and manage the company physical and cyber security system.
- Issue new users accounts and hardware to new employees.
- Evaluate overall systems performance, workflow, procedures and recommend and/or implement changes and improvements as necessary with management approval.
- Validate all programs and software meet business requirements and do not expose Overhaul to Cyber or licensing risk.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 3 years related experience or equivalent education
- Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
- English and Portuguese
- Handson experience implementing and administrating onprem and Cloud based solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.
- Selfdirected, goaloriented and flexible, enjoys working in a fastpaced and at times challenging environment.
- Ability to work crossfunctionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
