***: The IT Support Specialist will -under mínimal supervision


PRINCIPAL DUTIES:


  • Must support 24×7 GSOC operations with off shift support on occasional onsite support during evenings or weekends.
  • Identify, research and resolve the most complex technical problems in a manner that meets the end user's needs and does not expose Overhaul to any security or licensing risk.
  • Assist in the documentation of common processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for installation, documentation and connection of all new and existing workstations.
  • Responsible for installation and maintenance of all types of software.
  • Support physical network and wireless access points onsite.
  • Install, configure and maintain printers and VOIP/soft phones.
  • Assignment and tracking of all workstations and peripherals.
  • Maintain and manage the company physical and cyber security system.
  • Issue new users accounts and hardware to new employees.
  • Evaluate overall systems performance, workflow, procedures and recommend and/or implement changes and improvements as necessary with management approval.
  • Validate all programs and software meet business requirements and do not expose Overhaul to Cyber or licensing risk.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A minimum of 3 years related experience or equivalent education
  • Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
  • English and Portuguese
  • Handson experience implementing and administrating onprem and Cloud based solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.
  • Selfdirected, goaloriented and flexible, enjoys working in a fastpaced and at times challenging environment.
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
