Initially onshore based with offshore activities (on CTV), with the possibility to be changed to offshore based when CTV operations are more consolidated.

Embark and disembark usually at Rio de Janeiro, but other ports can be used, such as Angra dos Reis, Porto do Açu, etc.


Service Dimensions
The Offloading Specialist services is the competent service, who uses specialized local knowledge, contracted by the Company

(and approved by the National competent authority as required), responsible for the marine operations related to the FPSO.

  • Ensure compliance with the international maritime codes and conventions, industry codes of practice and guidelines
applicable to the marine facility.

  • Ensure compliance with Company rules including the GS-EPLSO302 requirements regarding safety equipment
use.

  • Be familiar with the procedures, safe practices and rules that are applicable during the use of Dynamic Positioning
(DP). Ensure compliance with Company rules including the GS-EP-LSO-306 requirements.

  • Implements and ensures compliance with all forms of communication and coordination between the facility,
government authority, international organizations, export tankers and vessels in the field.

  • Understands the basic concepts of conventional marine SIMOPS planning and implementation: drilling, seismic
operations interference with tanker offloading operations. Provides support to perform proper risk assessments.

  • Implements safe practices and rules applicable to the mooring of export tankers to SBM, FPU, FPSO as guided by OCIMF
publications.

  • Familiar with pilotage operations used in conventional coastal and offshore marine terminals.
  • Familiar with the cargo tank, crude oil washing and ballast operations in line with MARPOL and ISGOTT.

Main Activities

Health, Safety and Environment Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in establishing emergency marine procedures and provide necessary expertise.
  • Continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings, helping in risk analysis for marine operations and 'Lessons learnt'
feedback as required.

  • Complies with all security, health and safety instructions at all times.
  • Reporting to Affiliates any issue faced or observe and propose way of improvement.
  • Focus point on board the Cargo Transfer Vessel (CTV) during normal and emergency situations.

Operations:

  • Act as marine advisor for all offloading operations and as Company Site Representative on board CTV, as per Brazilian
regulations and Company procedures.

  • In charge of Dynamic Positioning assessment of DPSTs nominated for Company operated assets.
  • Ensure the quality and availability of marine equipment and units that are used during operations (oil tanker, buoys,
hoses, tugboats, mooring), as well as the ship/terminal compatibility for safe operation and environmental protection.

  • Supervise the Terminal Berthing team and support the FPSO Marine team.
  • Assist the Responsible for Safe and Environment on Site (RSES) on the FPSO on marine matters, in particular during
contamination, man overboard, etc.).


Context and environment
Company department provides the Logistics & Support to Operations and supports:

  • Exploration and Production activities at operated fields.
  • Any operations in nonoperated assets.
  • Research & development projects related to new technology in the field of Logistics & Support to Operations.

Accountabilities

  • The activities shall be performed in compliance with the HSE Management System, aligned with One Maestro
Principles and oriented to safeguard the integrity of people, the environment and Company's assets and reputation.

  • Team working, good communication, leadership, adaptability, proven record of achievement within marine
operations.

  • Supervisory experiences and ability to work in multiengineering and multicultural teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Be holder of a valid IMO STCW certificate II/2 unlimited.

  • Be holder of a valid specialized program on the bridge resources management and hold the related certificate.
Service Description

  • Be holder of a completed approved advanced training for oil tanker cargo operations that meets the standard of
competence specified in Section A-V/1-1, paragraph 2 of the STCW Code (IMO Model Course 1.02).

  • Be holder of a valid medical fitness certificate in accordance with IMO STCW 95 Convention.
  • Have a minimum experience of 5 years in oil and gas industry and thirtysix (36) sailing months as Senior Officer on
seagoing tankers (AFRAMAX or larger).
