As an
Accounting Clerk with Inflection Point LLC (IP) and affiliated entities, you will work on accounting projects for IP and its clients.

An ideal
Accounting Clerk is a positive, self-driven, detail-oriented, responsive person with strong accounting and communications skills.


This is a contractor position for IP, not an employee role at IP or one of its clients. The Accounting Clerk will sign a contractors agreement and will be paid monthly in local currency (R$).**
The Accounting Clerk must be able to work between 8/9am and 5/6pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Work on bookkeeping and reporting for IP, or its clients, in QuickBooks or its clients' general ledger (G/L) systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Support a client's Accounting Manager/Controller with monthly close tasks as needed.
  • Review, prepare, and enter AP invoices into the G/L. Enter payments into the bank, credit card processor, or other payment system.
  • Prepare and reconcile various balance sheet accounts, including bank, credit card, freight, prepaid expense, fixed assets, etc.
  • Create journal entries.
  • Create and publish regular financial reports for IP or all its clients.
  • Train new staff as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education, Skills & Experience:
Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsin English.
  • Minimum 1year experience as an accounting clerk or 3 years' experience as a bookkeeper, preferably with a USbased company.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed.
  • Ability to work and deal with people at various levels and of diverse backgrounds.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detailoriented and curious.
  • Capable of working directly with IP clients on their financial projects as required.
  • Must own a newer model computer (2019 or newer) and have reliable internet access.

Education, Skills & Experience:
Preferences

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using QuickBooks Online.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Business One or other ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with hourly timekeeping systems like Clockify.
  • Experience working with a USbased company.
  • Experience working on Pacific Time.
