Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience working in accounting, controllership, and local tax.
  • Experience in working with accounting Principles (US GAAP and IFRS/CPC) and SAP.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience in attending external and internal audits, agreement review, process improvement, system implementation, project management, and quality control.
  • Ability to succeed in a fastpaced environment and be adaptable to changing responsibilities/priorities with a commitment to excellence and impeccable standards and integrity.
  • Ability to be collaborative and work with crossfunctional and international teams at all levels.
  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish.

You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports.

Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness and efficiency of financial reporting and controllership processes, Accounting (IFRS and US GAAP), tax operation and compliance, and internal controls and risk management.
  • Manage Third party service providers and also make sure that company processes are in line with internal controls and global processes.
  • Participate in crossfunctional business and governance projects. Map, implement, and maintain processes and procedures to support Google's businesses.
  • Collaborate and have a direct interface with different organizations inside Google such as: Corporate finance, Financial Operations, Tax team, Legal, Treasury, and Product Engineering to ensure the launch of any new product and services.
  • Implement process improvements seeking efficiency and productivity gain on the finance related processes, close gaps in control frameworks, and develop scalable solutions.
