Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

The team you will be a part of

Nokia is investing in product development, go-to-market and sales to penetrate large CSP companies. Nokia technologies include a range of innovative, highly scalable IP, optical, cloud and data centre solutions.

As a member of a Brazilian Business Center technical team, the primary objective of the position is to manage all the technical aspects of supporting sales and business development of the largest Brazilian CSP accounts in Rio de Janeiro.

You will work closely with account managers and various business units to develop strategies and solutions directly with and for Nokia's key customers in Brazil.

For this opportunity, we are looking for a technical Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect with demonstrated customer-facing experience, including hands-on and network architecture experience.

Individuals must have a strong passion for developing long-term customer partnerships while meeting short-term targets in a highly competitive marketplace.

  • Enjoy leading deep technical discussions, including being proficient in lab environments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with highly technical customer base.
  • Understand, anticipate, and articulate customer needs.
  • Work with various business units and partners, developing and closing creative solutions to meet those needs.
  • Strategic thinking is required to leverage technical, marketing, enduser, and industry information to enable both Nokia's and customers' success.
  • Develop/maintain excellent ongoing internal and external partnerships in order to communicate and drive customer requirements into the business unit product plans.
  • Manage relationships with customers at all levels enable parallel topdown sales through executive relationships and bottomsup sales through teams.
  • Must be capable of developing seniorlevel customer technical relationships but comfortable working with all levels.
  • Must excel in a complex selling environment driving consistent strategy across multiple customer sets.
  • Contribute to a highperformance work environment to enable all team members to perform at the highest level.

Location:

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecom or Electric Engineering or Computer Science
  • 10 years of networking experience, including IP/MPLS networks
  • 5+ years of technical Presales experience, including leading customer engagements, meetings and internal strategies
  • Indepth knowledge of IP networking and architectures
  • English Fluency
  • Experience in building large networks
  • Expertise in IP protocols, including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN and MPLS
  • Experience selling to CSP account is a plus
  • Understanding of the latest technology trends in for:
  • Network automation and programmability
  • Software Defined Networks (SDN)
  • Protocols including netconf/YANG, OpenConfig, Telemetry
  • Traffic engineering and network design
  • Protocols including Segment Routing, PCE, MPLS
  • Proven track record of breakthrough sales
  • Contributes to the development of innovative solutions and ideas to drive incremental revenue.
  • Business acumen in planning and organising, information integration, decisionmaking and ability to achieve results while focusing on customer requirements and business success.
  • Highly beneficial to this role: Experience configuring modern routers.
