Service Description
The service provider shall play a transversal role by interacting with Tax, Accounting, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Logistics team.
Service dedicated to Tax support to E&P operations, by means of analysis, classification, tax bookkeeping, storage control and fiscal coverage for physical movements of E&P equipments in SAP and Mastersaf; issuance, registration and filing of all fiscal invoices on time as required by Logistics and Commercial teams; giving support regarding the tax procedures to be adopted in the notas fiscais issued against the Company, in order to avoid refusal/cancelling; Fiscal Control of Items submitted to the Repetro-Sped regime; Improvements in the SAP/Mastersaf regarding tax and finance matters.
This service became needed as a result of the growth of the Operated activities and Commercial transactions, with higher volume of oil exported, borrowed/lent and soon gas.
Activities
- Tax analyst with emphasis in logistic base operations and tax compliance. The main activities is to give support to operations and other support functions, regarding indirect tax issues on oil and gas activities;
- To be responsible for attend the Logistic base operation, tax obligations supporting the E&P project;
- To be responsible for the bookkeeping of the invoices;
- To be responsible for support importing and exportation of the equipment, transfer of equipment, the delivery of the accessory obligations and support in fiscal module in SAP (key user);
- To be responsible for controlling tax operations under tax benefit;
- To crosscheck indirect taxes control with accounting team;
- To be responsible for billing (issuance of fiscal invoices) in accordance with Brazilian legislation;
- To support Tax Coordinator in order to attend tax inspections;
- To know fiscal legislation;
- To use SAP and Mastersaf. Elaborate KPI's to support the improvement of Tax team activities
- Creation and design new models and/or templates to optimize tax team routines / reports
- Interaction with IT and SAP teams to identify new digital opportunities (collaborative solutions)
Qualifications/Experience required
- University degree in accounting;
- Experience at least 5 years' experience in tax domain, mainly in indirect taxes and experience in Oil & Gas Industry;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- IT and database skills as MS Office (SAP is a competitive differential);
- Proactive and team spirit
