Through its Restaurant Brands for Good framework, RBI is improving sustainable outcomes related to its food, the planet, and people and communities.

    As an Engineering Manager on the Core Frontend team at RBI you will join a team working on a digital platform to serve our vast customer base internationally. You will help architect and develop customer facing applications, as well as back-end services to support the company's core digital operations.

    Responsibilities:

  • Lead, guide and direct the engineering team.
  • Manage planning, execution and delivery of team's projects.
  • Manage and mentor engineers, including hiring, training, performance evaluations and career development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, engaging with product managers, other engineering managers and leadership team.
  • Continuously assess and improve engineering processes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for engineering-related questions and issues.
  • Contribute to critical platform architecture decisions.
  • High technical proficiency in TypeScript, React, Capacitor, and GraphQL.

    • Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • 2+ years of professional experience as engineering manager.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Deep experience with - and love for - technology.
  • Strong interpersonal, and English communication skills.

    • Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with AWS, and AWS services.
  • Experience in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) market.
