    JOB PURPOSE

    Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group`s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.

    An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Marketing & PR professional to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and to lead the delivery and executions of omni-channel marketing & PR activities in Brazil.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    PR:

    • Responsible for developing the annual communications strategy and execution, with a special focus on increasing end consumer awareness.


    • Organize key industry or brand events (virtual and/or live) within the local market


    • Help identify, select and manage the relevant agency partners


    • Identify and negotiate contracts with local brand ambassadors in line with the global team


    • Hold key relationships to trade and lifestyle media in the local market


    • Propose local partnership ideas to drive brand awareness and value


    • Own the communications budget, including agency/vendor management

    Marketing:


    • Lead the delivery and adaptations of all corporate marketing campaigns


    • Coordinate the adaptation and delivery of key B2C and B2B2C assets across the region with a special focus on offline campaigns


    • Be the local guardian of the brand equity and ensure perfect brand executions across all channels


    • Be the point of reference for the global marketing team and proactively provide feedback to ensure future materials are fit for purpose in Brazil market.

    QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)


    • You have minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Marketing/Brand/PR Role in the Luxury or Luxury Hospitality/Travel Industry


    • You know the codes of luxury


    • You have a proven track record of organizing luxury events


    • You set yourself apart through your personal accountability to deliver with excellence


    • You are structured, well organized and know how tonavigate in a matrix organisation


    • You master the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint


    • You are fluent in English and in Portuguese.


    • Openness to travel up to 20% of the time mostly nationally occasionally internationally
