    Communications Specialist LATAM

    Your profile

    Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, liberal arts, business

    Experience: 5+ years in digital content creation and measurement, preferably for external and internal

    Specific Skills:

  • Content development and storytelling skills, with the ability to take technical information and deliver engaging content.
  • Solid knowledge of editing programs to make quick video snippets and other visual assets to be used in a variety of communication channels.
  • Knowledge of preparing / editing content for search engine optimization (making sure all content follows best SEO practices and company guidelines)
  • Expertise in tracking and analyzing digital KPIs, benchmarking and analytics.
  • Understanding of the latest digital technologies and solutions, an enthusiasm for digital trends, and the desire to identify relevant opportunities for brand involvement.
  • Understanding of e-mail awareness campaigns and how to use to further amplify regional content. (Specific experience with Eloqua is a plus)
  • Experience with web analytics tools, web content trends, and maximizing the user journey on the website.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a highly dynamic multinational environment.
  • Experience overseeing collaboration with vendors.
  • Basic understanding of the energy market.
  • Excellent English, Portuguese and Spanish speaking and writing skills.
  • Your responsibilities

    Digital storytelling

  • Support team to create visual, impactful, and within SE brand content for stories for digital channels.
  • Be a resource to team on the latest digital trends and how we can incorporate them into our communications activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting:

  • Assist social media and media relations with monitoring, measuring and reporting the impact of our communication activities, recommend improvements including audience targeting and adjustments for better results.
  • Help product monthly dashboards and summaries to track progress and help stakeholders better understand how we add value for their business.
  • Website:

  • Support development of an outstanding Siemens Energy website for our Focus Countries using SEO and user experience best practices.
  • Help drive search engine optimization and search engine advertising to strengthen Siemens Energy's digital presence.
  • Analyze web performance and identify areas of improvement including website functionality, conversion, and user journeys. Regularly monitor competitors' web presence.
  • Social Media:

  • Help support processes and configuration of social media management platform for the region.
  • Help execute paid social media campaigns and continuously provide recommendations to improve performance.
  • Help drive innovative ideas to deliver greater engagement and grow internal and external communities.
  • Digital campaigns

  • Develop and execute e-mail awareness campaigns, using Eloqua, LinkedIn and/or other customer contact platforms.
  • Your opportunities for personal growth

  • Empowered to get involved in multiple markets with special focus on the growing energy transition and decarbonization markets.
  • Ability to influence communication through implementation of new technologies, solutions, and approaches.
  • Leadership of digital and SoMe communities and projects within the Latin America Hub, collaboration with other Hubs globally.
