    Support Engineer: Software

    Position Summary:

    Our partner, a leading intranet software company, offering innovative software solutions that help businesses build enterprise-level portals to connect their employees across different departments, is looking to add a Software Support Engineer to their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in integrating their platform with various third-party applications and systems to enhance its functionality and meet client's needs. If you have a passion for technology, a knack for problem-solving, and enjoy working on diverse integration projects, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

    Experience and Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical experience.
    • 5+ years of experience in technical support and/or related roles.
    • Background in technical support environments, particularly with software and integrations.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors.

    • Data transfer (i.e., API Integrations, Data Hooks)
    • Direct collaboration with end-users / clients

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with customers to understand their integration requirements and objectives, translating them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers and internal teams throughout the integration process, offering recommendations and best practices to optimize integration outcomes.
    • Perform custom integrations for third-party applications, leveraging APIs and other integration tools and technologies, within cloud and on-premise infrastructures.
    • Test and validate integrations to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
    • Document integration processes, configurations, and workflows, creating comprehensive documentation and knowledge base articles for reference and training purposes.
