    Job Description

    Turner & Townsend has been actively supporting clients both locally and globally since 2000. Our Real Estate team plays a crucial role in enabling clients to achieve forward-looking assets and enhance outcomes in real estate construction projects of all scales. We focus on delivering outcomes that are not only quicker, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly but also digitally empowered and well-managed.

    The Data Center Lead position, reporting to the Director of Industrial Science & Technology (IS&T), is based in Brazil and acts as a key figure for the Latin American market. The selected candidate will drive sector growth, particularly in large-scale projects and programs. Responsibilities include ensuring service quality, recruiting and nurturing essential talent, and converting major opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the enhancement of major project and program offers, including service approaches and best practices.
    • Lead the development and implementation of growth strategies for major projects and programs in the data center sector.
    • Manage pursuits of major projects and programs in the local market.
    • Oversee new commissions as a project director/leader.
    • Lead talent development in alignment with the strategy and opportunities.
    • Develop strategic industry partnerships to enable opportunities, propositions, and delivery.
    • Establish core assurance methodology for local projects.

    Qualifications

    • Degree qualified with professional chartership (MCIOB, MRICS).
    • Strong communication skills and ability to build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Capable of accessing and influencing key decision-makers within clients, regulatory bodies, and government entities.
    • Strategic mindset with a consistent approach to decision-making.
    • Able to both execute and lead, driving service delivery while fostering local talent and pipeline growth.
    • Proficiency in English and Portuguese, with Spanish skills being advantageous.
    • 15+ years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in project management, cost management, or project controls, with a proven track record in successfully delivering major projects and programs.
    • Essential experience in delivering data center projects.
    • Experience in client and consultant environments is beneficial.
    • Preferably experienced in the Latin America region and capable of working in diverse cultural settings.
    • Past engagement with global accounts and contributing to their relationship growth.
