    We are looking for a new colleague for the Regional Data Manager position

    Location: São Paulo – Brazil

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying, analyzing and presenting solutions to execute our Data Strategy plan in Latin America Region.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and deliver effective solutions; seeking for improvements and data intelligence with a focus on business competitiveness and sustainability and also to identify opportunities for process enhancements, proposing actionable modifications.

    Analyze data trends to proactively identify potential opportunities to meet business needs across the region.

    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions that meet their demands;

    Develop and implement data management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

    Supervise the collection, storage, processing and analysis of data, ensuring their quality and integrity.

    Manage and improve existing IP'S, ensuring their reliability, performance and security;

    Identify opportunities for improvement in BI processes and implement innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness;

    Analyze and interpret data to extract valuable insights and present them clearly and concisely to stakeholders.

    Ensure the success of data product development and data lake evolution;

    Lead end-to-end data projects, Building up delivery plan along with estimations on timeframes, quality, and quantity of resources required to successfully deliver projects

    Data Onboarding - Work with group to develop and document data schemas, data lineage and metadata dictionaries.

    Data Quality - Use data platform and cloud capabilities to implement data quality measures and ongoing processes to track quality across the data touch points. Proactively monitor data quality and research issues for size and impact

    Data Governance - Work with the Group and Compliance team to ensure all regulatory and customer specific agreements are not in violation. Support the data asset access management process. Regularly review data usage and work with the compliance team to resolve conflicts to regulatory, master agreements, or other violations which would inhibit the data being used in the future. Drive best practices and implementation of data usage policies.

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • +10 year in Data strategy, Data Management or data insights based positions, with a good understanding on Commercial data.
    • record in involvement in data products and data-related service strategy, change management, and business development within the Data-Driven Economy and data-enriched processes.
    • degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
    • analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • proficiency in data cleansing and data preparation techniques.
    • written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • mindset, driven to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
    • Ability to demonstrate and think strategically about business, products and contribute to solving technical challenges.
    • Fluent in Portuguese and English, Spanish is highly-desirable.
