    Função: Engineering (CA)
    Título: Senior Product Engineer (Aftermarket) - Campinas/SP

    As a Senior Product Engineer for the Aftermarket & Customer Support division (A&CS), you will support enterprise strategic sourcing and product marketing. This position covers the focus country/regional areas for lubricants and coolants, batteries, All-Makes, other strategic commodities, and miscellaneous product adoptions. Both the aftermarket and factory requirements will need to be aligned and supported. You will also be responsible for:

    Your Responsibilities

  • Support strategically sourced products (batteries, oil, lubricants, coolants) regionally for the local factories as well as the aftermarket from an engineering perspective (. Quality, Technical Specification, ;
  • Manage new product adoptions (Product Development Process) for both Deere and non-Deere branded products;
  • Ensure product safety and compliance for all products in the region;
  • Verify products meet or exceed performance and reliability goals (joint activity with marketing and supply management);
  • Handle any customer support (CSP) and product defect/warranty issues in conjunction with Fluids Engineering, DTAC/DPAC, and regional CPS organization;
  • Coordinate supplier development activities (. audits/assessments);
  • Product alignment gaps for batteries, oil, lubricants, and coolants between the factory and the aftermarket, as well as aftermarket product adoptions to support the dealer organization;
  • Tactical execution of product safety and compliance for the portfolio (both new and existing products);
  • Verification of new products or significant product updates from the quality, performance, and reliability perspective;

    • What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering;
  • Advanced English (Comprehensive vocabulary, good grammar, conducts meetings, argues, negotiates, and delivers training);
  • Experience with Aftermarket products such as lubricants and coolants, batteries and other strategic commodities;
  • Experience with product safety and supplier audits;
  • Customer support for the portfolio;
  • Experience handling any customer support (CSP) issues in conjunction with Fluids Engineering, DTAC/DPAC, and regional CPS organization;

  • Knowledge of Deere or other OEM SBU operations and Dealer network/channels to include Dealer interaction;
  • Project Management and experience leading Business Process Improvements;
  • While this is an operations role, cross training background in Marketing, Sales or Customer process experience a plus;
  • Process tools and capabilities further desirable but not required include MS Project and MS Visio (process mapping).
