    Position Summary:
    The Finance Manager is a visible role providing support to AMR (Canada, United States, Latin America) Commercial Leaders.

    This position requires an ability to be adaptable to fast changing business/operational conditions, while providing timely and accurate analytics and reporting to Finance and Operations management.

    Strong cross-functional collaboration with AMR Commercial business partners and across Finance functions, ability to influence across the organization as well as possession of outstanding analytical skills are required.

    The candidate needs to have an in-depth knowledge of Operating Expenditures and Capital Expenditures, as well as Commercial business acumen.

    The role oversees AMR Commercial's Capital and Operating Expenditures.

    This individual collaborates and works closely with Business Partners to achieve annual operating targets, continuous process improvements, and operating metrics initiatives to drive efficient and effective performance.

    This individual will also evaluate business cases supporting new investment initiatives.

    Please submit resume/CV in English Responsibilities: Serve as a Finance business partner for AMR Commercial, building key relationships and supporting the achievement of AMR Commercial OpEx and CapEx priorities and key objectivesEnable prudent decision-making by collaborating with business SMEs across several functions in the company to evaluate the financial implications of strategic choices and build thorough business casesDevelop and manage the implementation of annual budget planManage financial close and forecast activities. Tracking, reporting, and sharing financial performance on OpEx and CapEx with business partners and finance leadership in a timely mannerExamine financials to ensure accuracy and compliance with policy and proceduresAnalyze, synthesize and translate data into key strategic inputs and insights that will drive strategic decision making and actions at the executive levelProvide relevant insights and recommendations to executive management teamManage and monitor adherence to approved budget (OpEx and CapEx)


    Drive preparation of economic analysis to support new investment opportunities and ensure that the appropriate financial and business risks have been identified and evaluatedLead and drive process and preparation of forecasts and budgets with business partners.

    Identify the underlying reasons for variances from those financial plans and recommend gap-closure actions.
    Track actual costs and milestone dates for our capex projects and investmentsWork with business SMEs to monitor ongoing costs and help identify metrics and opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficienciesMaximize long-term shareholder value while protecting corporate assetsRequirements:

    Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience, with at least 2 years of Management experience.

    Must be able to conduct business in English and Portuguese
    Uses interpersonal skills to influence business partnersAbility to collaborate with and influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders across corporate functions and hierarchyAdvanced expertise in TM1, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are a plusHighly motivated with positive attitude and strong work ethicOutstanding financial acumen blended with business partnershipExceptional interpersonal soft skills, able to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organizationStrong knowledge of financial modeling and analysis, budgeting and forecastingSuperb verbal and written communication and project management skillsGood understanding of GAAP and SEC rules and their applicationProven ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and the strategic implications of different business approachesEducation: BS or BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field#LI-HYBRID
