    Head of Market Development, Latin AmericaFounded in 2018 by CPAs, tax attorneys, and software developers, TaxBit is creating an entirely new category to enable widespread compliant adoption of digital assets for the global economy.

    Opportunity for Impact TaxBit is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the founding team member for TaxBit in Latin America and initiate market development in the region.

    This is a critical milestone as we continue to scale our digital asset tax and accounting solutions for the global economy.

    Reporting to the CEO, you will own TaxBit's strategy and operational execution for laying the foundation for TaxBit's Latin America expansion.

    You will be responsible for catalyzing revenue growth by creating new business opportunities with Enterprise prospects and customers, as well as government relationships and ecosystem partners.

    You will collaborate closely with other TaxBit leaders to accelerate the company's growth.

    The ideal candidate has extensive experience in market development in Latin America in B2B SaaS products and/or technology solutions for the Public Sector.

    They have a proven track record of launching and scaling new products or businesses, resulting in exceptional customer, brand, talent, and financial outcomes.

    Role and Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies that lay the groundwork for TaxBit as the leader in tax, accounting, and compliance in digital assets in the regionCreate and steward business development opportunities with Enterprises and Public SectorRepresent TaxBit at events and with policy-makers, working closely with TaxBit subject matter experts and local partners Forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments and consistently deliver against that forecastEngage directly with prospects, with particular focus on accelerating or expanding the largest and/or most strategic deals for TaxBitEstablish and maintain strong relationships with partners, with a specific emphasis on growing that partner business and increasing high-quality lead flowEngage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy, focused primarily on opportunities to unlock revenue growth in Latin AmericaProfessional Qualifications 7-10 years experience in Latin American B2B SaaS and/or Web3 / digital assets7-10 years experience in market development, business development, launching and scaling new businessesDeep understanding of Latin America's regulatory environment as it pertains to digital assets, financial services, and/or regulatory riskTrack record of top performance and a history of carrying and exceeding team/region/ company business goalsAbility to understand complex technical requirements as they pertain to Latin America-specific clients; assist in crafting solutions across multiple products Strong presentation, white-boarding, and communication skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholdersProven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreementsAbility to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraintsStrong interest in financial compliance technology and a deep understanding of the spaceSome domain expertise in tax, compliance, and/or accounting is strongly desired, though not required.
